On July 4th weekend, 1978, in Dallas, TX, almost 100,000 people crammed inside the Cotton Bowl during the hottest day of the decade for the first real stadium rock show in the south.  The success of the Texxas Jam led to a decade long of stadium rock shows and launched the careers of new bands all across the south.  This is the untold story of the greatest stadium rock show Texas has ever seen.
